Today
set off on an adventure to Mackinac Island and Door
County! Board our spacious video, and restroom
equipped motor coach for your first stop on the
itinerary, Indianapolis. Enjoy entertainment and games
on the bus and an opportunity to meet your Tour
Director and fellow passengers. There will be stops
along the way for restroom breaks and meals. Overnight
Indianapolis. (B, Light Dinner at hotel)

13 - Sun: Frankenmuth
After
breakfast continue to Frankenmuth, a town in the lower
Michigan Peninsula settled by German immigrants. The
gingerbread architecture, quaint gift shops and
restaurants are styled after their Bavarian roots. We
will be sure to make a stop at Bronner’s Family
Christmas Wonderland Store. Take part in Pretzel
rolling experience.

14 - Mon: Grand Traverse Lighthouse, Mackinac Island
Breakfast
at the hotel. Depart to Traverse City to visit the Grand
Traverse Lighthouse.
Continue to Charlevoix, cherry capital of the world.
We will stop at one of the area’s many farm stands.
Tour the Music
House Museum
with its collection of old organs, pianos, and
jukeboxes as well as other amazing instruments. Cross
the impressive Mackinac Bridge, one of the longest
suspension bridges in the world that spans five miles
across Lake Huron. We will board our ferry
to Mackinac Island.
The island, a coveted resort vacation spot since the
1800’s, is peaceful and serene with no motorized
vehicles allowed. Transport on the island is by horse
carriage, bicycle, or foot. Check into your hotel,
just near the port, downtown shopping and restaurants
for the next two nights. Enjoy Lilac Festival

15 - Tue: Mackinac, Grand Hotel
Transfer
yourself back to Victorian times as a horse-drawn
tram will pick you up at the hotel for a tour of the
island’s historic and scenic points.
The tour ends at the Grand
Hotel for
their magnificent lunch
buffet.
There will be time to explore the Grand Hotel on your
own. The afternoon is free to explore the island by
bicycle or foot. Perhaps you will shop the many stores
near the hotel. (B, L)

16 - Wed: Wisconsin, Door County
Our
ferry will return us to the mainland and travel
westwards to Wisconsin. The trip will be filled with
beautiful shoreline scenery. Visit to the inspiring Tahquamenon
Falls,
one of the largest falls east of the Mississippi. Tour
the Great
Lakes Shipwreck Museum,
the only one of its kind dedicated to the perils and
heroism of maritime transport on the Great Lakes.
Admire the oldest active Light Station on Lake
Superior. For more than 150 years, this unique iron
pile Light Tower ordered by President Lincoln has
guided thousands of ships running before the storm
along the infamous Shipwreck Coast to safe harbor in
Whitefish Bay. Continue to Door
County,
know as the “New England of the Midwest”. This
scenic Peninsula juts out into Lake Michigan, giving
it a rich maritime history.
Traditional
Door County Fish Boil dinner
featuring fresh Lake Michigan whitefish, heart
potatoes, and sweet onions. Bring your camera as the
boil over is a great picture souvenir to take home!

17 - Thu: Door County Tour
Discover
the exquisite beauty of the Door
County Peninsula with a local tour guide.
Learn the history of these quaint villages that make
up this “Cape Cod of the Midwest”.
Door County is a natural destination. Pristine
parklands and nature preserve, 300 miles of meandering
shorelines, woodlands, beaches, wonderful wildflowers
and awesome wildlife. Option to visit the Maritime
Museum. Return to Sturgeon Bay for overnight. (B)

18 - Fri: House on the Rock
Travel
southwestwards to Spring Green, Wisconsin to tour
House on the Rock.
Explore the marvels upon marvels of the grand vision
of Alex Jordan who was inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Your tour will include the Gate House, the Original
House, the Infinity Room, the Japanese Garden, and the
Container Gardens. Continue to Moline for overnight.

This
morning visit John
Deere Pavilion,
a celebration of the past, present and future of
agribusiness. Continue southwards for a unique lunch
in an 1875 Victorian home.
Continue to St Louis for overnight. Light dinner

20 - Sun: Travel home
Time
for sightseeing in St. Louis. Depart after lunch. As
we travel home enjoy visiting with your new friends
and passengers, sharing memories of your trip, and
planning which Trump Tours trip you will be taking
next. Arrive in Bella Vista late afternoon.
