2 - Sat: Indy 500, Detroit area
This
morning we tour the Indianapolis
Motor Speedway Hall of Fame Museum and Track,
recognized as one of the mostly highly visible museums
in the world devoted to automobiles and auto racing.
The museum and Speedway grounds were honored with the
designation of National Historic Landmark. Continue to
Detroit area. Overnight Troy. (B, Light Dinner

3 - Sun: The Henry Ford, Toronto, Canada
This
mornings highlight is a visit to a National Historic
Landmark, the
Henry Ford Museum,
the nation’s largest indoor-outdoor history museum.
Enjoy lunch at one of the restaurants (on your
own) of the Henry Ford’s grounds before we continue
our journey to Toronto, Canada. We cross the border
make sure you have your passport. Afternoon arrive in
Toronto the cultural, entertainment and financial
capital of Canada.
Rest of day at your leisure.

4 – Mon: Toronto
Morning
free to relax or explore on your own. Afternoon
experience the history, sounds and sights of Toronto
on a guided
tour with
a local guide. One of the many highlights besides City
Hall and Chinatown will be the famous medieval Castle
Loma, situated in the heart of mid-town. We finish the
trip with a ride to the top of the CN
Tower,
formerly the world’s tallest building at 1,815 feet
taking in views of the Toronto Skyline and distances
as far a 100 miles. Overnight Toronto. (B)

5 - Tue 5: Kingston, 1,000 Islands, St. Lawrence River
Enjoy
the beautiful scenery as we travel around Lake Ontario
to Kingston, the fresh sailing capitol of the North
America.
Enjoy a lunch
cruise through the 1,000 Islands that
start in Kingston and dot the St.
Lawrence River for
miles. Continue a short distance to Ottawa, the
capitol of Canada. Overnight Ottawa. (B, L)

6 - Wed: Ottawa, Montreal
On
a guided
tour of Ottawa with
a local guide you will explore Parliament buildings,
Rideau Hall, UNESCO World Heritage Site Rideau Canal,
Notre Dame Cathedral and more. Continue to Montreal
for overnight.

7 - Thu: Montreal
After
breakfast enjoy a guided
tour of
this bi-lingual French & English speaking city.
Highlights include the French Quarter, Old Montreal,
Notre Dame Cathedral and views from the top of Mount
Royal. Afternoon free time to explore or shop.

8 - Fri: Stowe, Lake Placid
Depart
Montreal through the beautiful Quebec country side to
Stowe, Vermont.
We will visit a sugarhouse for a maple
syrup tasting
and tour Ben
& Jerry’s Ice Cream.
Continue west with a stop at Lake Placid, host of the
1980 Winter Olympics. We continue our adventure
through New York’s greatest treasures, the
Adirondack Mountains. Overnight Watertown, NY. (B)

9 - Sat: Niagara Falls
Continue
around Lake Ontario to the famous Niagara Falls. Enjoy
a delicious lunch
at Niagara Falls
overlooking the falls and then don a raincoat and
board the “Maid
of the Mist”
cruise to get close up to these magnificent
waterfalls. Overnight Buffalo area (B, L)

10 - Sun: Lake Erie, Brandywine Falls
Depart
southwards along Lake Erie lakeshore Enjoy the
maritime panoramas and the fall colors that will soon
turn into the central plains. Stop at Brandywine Falls
before continuing to Middletown, OH. Light dinner at
the hotel. Overnight Middletown. (B, Light Dinner
at the hotel included)

11 - Mon: Lexington, Thoroughbred Horse Farm
Travel
south to Lexington, Kentucky horse capital of the
world. Tour a Thoroughbred Horse Farm to learn about
famous Kentucky bred racehorses. Continue to Paducah,

at the hotel included)

12 - Tue: Return Home
Our
final day will be a treat as we enjoy the colors of
the Ozark
foliage.
Claimed as some of the best in the nation, we will
follow the footsteps of Laura Ingalls Wilder and wind
through the breathtaking scapes. Our farewell
luncheon will
surely be a highlight as we reminisce about our
fantastic trip through nature’s miracle. Arrive home
late afternoon with many memories and an official “Leaf
Peepers”
